ISO 9001 is their system used in automative manufacturing, among other industries. At Ever-Roll, many of our quality products are used in the manufacturing of various automotive supplies and vehicles.  

As a trusted supplier of products to major companies around the globe, we are proud to announce that we’ve officially completed the transition to newest set of standards, and we will be ISO 9001:2015 certified on June 27 when our current registration expires. 

The transition and reviewing process was no simple task, but we believe it is well worth the effort to express full-transparency and to deliver the best products possible. 

What’s the Difference Between ISO 9001: 2008 and 2015 

For those less familiar with how ISO standards work, you may be wondering about the gap in years. ISO standards are reviewed every 5 years. If updates are needed based on industry and market changes, the certification is revised. 

Once the new standards are issued, companies are given a certain number of years to transition in order to maintain certification. 

One major change to ISO 9001: 2015 was to it’s high-level structure, making it closer to other ISO systems. This makes it simpler for any company working within multiple management systems to maintain order and flow.  

The new version also puts a greater focus on risk-based thinking and leadership engagement. 

Outside of the changes, ISO9001 certification does the same things its always strived to do: increasing efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, reducing waste, minimalizing error, promoting consistency, and maintaining safe working conditions.
